Weekly Meetings

Join us throughout the week as we meet for fellowship in the Word and prayer. Locations are subject to change, so please check the calendar for updates.

FRIDAY NIGHT LARGE GROUP 7-9:30 p.m. at Various Locations

Friday Night Large Group revolves around the preaching of Scriptures on different topics, ranging from dating and relationships to existential questions like “Why does suffering and evil exist in the world?” Through dramas, power point presentations, movie clips, upbeat music centered on Jesus, and the preaching of the Bible, this informal time of worship and the Word will strengthen you at the end of a long week.

SUNDAY LORD’S DAY SERVICES 9:30 a.m. at Brookens Gymnasium & 12:30 p.m. at Various Locations
Lord’s Day Service is a more formal time of worship, when the whole congregation comes together. The time is spent listening to systematic Bible exposition, and singing praise songs and hymns. Whether you have been a Christian for many years or are walking into a church for the first time, Lord’s Day Service is a great time to learn and grow in the knowledge of God and experience community in our church.

PRAYER MEETINGS


We believe that prayer is key to maintaining our spiritual strength and relationship with the Lord. In order to cultivate a lifestyle of prayer, we offer several different prayer meetings throughout the week.

Morning Prayer (Monday-Friday 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. at TCBC)
“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed” (Mark 1:35). Morning Prayer begins with a brief sharing from the Bible (5 minutes) and the rest of the hour is open for personal prayer in spiritual preparation for the day.

Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting (Wednesday 10 p.m. - Thursday 3 a.m. at CUCC)
Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting is a place to spend extended times in prayer by praying for longer stretches of time. The doors are open from 10 p.m. until 3 a.m. The time begins with a few praise songs and a short message from the Bible (30 minutes). The rest of the night is open for personal prayer for however long you would like to stay.

Thursday Prayer Meeting (Thursday 7-9 p.m. at TCBC)
Thursday Prayer Meeting is the official corporate prayer meeting for the church. The meeting begins with a message from one of the associate pastors, leading into a time of personal prayer. Then we pray for different prayer requests for our church together. The time concludes with a few minutes to pair up with others, to share and pray together.

Missions Prayer Meeting (Sunday 7-8 p.m. at CUCC)
Missions is an integral part of our church vision and this is the one time during the week where we as a church specifically pray for the needs and requests of the different missionaries we support. Occasionally there are also “live” missions reports from visiting and returning missionaries, challenging us to pray for the nations by seeing God’s work all around the world.
